First Easter Egg Hunt

This past Saturday, Abigail went to her first Easter Egg Hunt. It was at a 1000 acre park (the hunt was not over the 1000 acres!) It was hosted by the home study agency we used and there were probably over 100 people there, with nearly half as many adopted kids! It was a colorful mix of beautiful children from all over the world dressed in their Easter outfits or spring clothes. Kids blew bubbles, ate snacks, made decorated egg crafts, got pictures with the Bunny. Abigail mostly focused her attention on the bubbles (sticking her hands in the bucket, licking the bubble solution off of the wand, moving all the wands from one bucket to another) but she did make a purple foam egg.

Then began the crème de' le' crème of activities: The Easter Egg Hunt. The "under threes" got a head start, and Abigail immediately grabbed 2 eggs. She had one in each hand and shook them and danced in place. She was so happy with her 2 eggs, she didn't care to pick up any more. Two hands, two eggs, who needs more?

And in case anyone was wondering, both of her eggs contained more bubble solution!!

I am so glad ya'll brought Abigail to the EE hunt. It was so much fun to watch those precious children scamper for eggs!
She is a doll baby!
